Local authorities take action on parking closure at Tanah Aina Cafe

KUANTAN - The owner of Tanah Aina Cafe, Mrs. Sri Shariffa Sabrina Syed Akil has denied that there is an official notice reminding her to close the parking lot of her restaurant.

The land involved is alleged to have been turned into a resort area and for business activities by Tanah Aina Fareena Cafe & Restaurant, Tanah Aina Fahad Glamping Resort and Tanah Aina Farrah Soraya Exclusive Eco Resort.

The restaurant owner said that they were only given a verbal warning about the plan to close the parking area including access to the cafe by the enforcement representative who attended Tanah Aina Fareena premises last week.

Responding to the statement, Exco of Public Works, Transportation, Health and Local Government of the State of Pahang, YB.  Tuan Ir Razali Kassim emphasized that the State Government has taken continuous action on them illegally occupying government land for the past 6 years.

Furthermore he added that the enforcement action was taken from the court order under Section 425 of the National Land Code.

Due to the court order, The Pahang State Enforcement Unit (UPNP) had to completely close the entrance of Tanah Aina Cafe parking lot that was built on government land.

This action taken by Pahang State Government has shown their commitment in maintaining justice and upholding law in order to provide justice for all and UPNP has been known as a special unit to carry out enforcement tasks based on acts under the jurisdiction of the Pahang State Government.
